Shirobako Twitter Posts About 'Unrelated' Movie Project

The official Shirobako anime posted on Thursday that the team is "working on a movie," but clarified that it is unrelated to Shirobako. The post then adds that the movie project is starting to involve more people, and that it is tackling a different subject than the "TV version." The post does not clarify which "TV version" it is specifying.
The Shirobako anime premiered in October 2014. It centers on Aoi Miyamori, a production assistant in an anime studio, as well as four of her friends who all work on different aspects of the industry, such as animation, scriptwriting, voice acting, and CG animation. licensed the series for home video release.
