Transform Into Total Eclipse Anime's Aliens With Zip-Up BETA Hoodies

In collaboration with Kouki Yoshimune, Studio 696 is producing jackets that transform the wearers into the anime's BETA aliens by zipping up the hoods.
Plus, Yoshimune and Studio 696's Twitter. On February 11, 2013 — National Foundation Day — the organizers want to overtake the famous Nippon Budōkan arena with BETA aliens.
The white Soldier-Class version costs 17,000 yen ($209) and the less elaborate red Tank-Class version costs 13,000 yen ($160) for fan club . (The Soldier-Class hood doubles as a neck pillow.) For non-, the jackets will cost 19,425 yen ($239) and 15,225 yen ($187), respectively. Those interested can purchase both jackets for 32,550 yen ($401). Each jacket comes in sizes small through XXL, and are made of 100% cotton.The jackets will ship in late January, and the company is accepting pre-orders until November 20.
