Shonen Jump Alpha Goes Simultaneous on January 21

North American manga publisher Weekly Shonen Jump Alpha digital anthology will release its manga chapters on the same day they come out in Japan starting on January 21, 2013.

Viz Media's Executive Vice President of Publishing revealed in October that the anthology would be moving to a simultaneous model with Japan soon.

Viz Media also posted two trailers for ed the Weekly Shonen Jump Alpha lineup on Monday. Viz Media has also released the first volume of the manga in English digitally.

Shonen Jump's English website describes Nisekoi's story:

Raku Ichijou may be the heir to a yakuza group, but he's a normal high school kid who dreams of peace and quiet. However, when he meets super-hot but violent transfer student Chitoge Kirisaki, his life takes a sharp turn for the worse!

Viz Media also noted that it plans to add more series to the Weekly Shonen Jump Alpha's lineup.
