Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate Trailer Highlights Playable Characters

PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita game Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate (titled Musō Orochi 2 Ultimate in Japan). The trailer introduces several of the game's more than 140 playable characters, highlights gameplay elements such as the triple rush, battle style change, air-type action, and "Shin Musou Burst," and also highlights game modes such as Unlimited Mode and Dual Mode.
Characters featured in the trailer that are new to Ultimate include Tamamo-no-Mae (voiced by Chie Nakamura) from the Soul Calibur series will the game.
The original Musō OROCHI game featured characters from Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors while Musou Orochi 2 Ultimate will include Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors as well as characters from Dead or Alive, Ninja Gaiden, and the Atelier series.
The game is slated to ship on September 26 in Japan. The PS3 version will cost 6,615 yen ($67) while the able version will be 5,800 yen (US$58). The PS Vita version is expected to retail at 6,090 yen (US$61) while the able version will be 5,400 yen (US$54). A edition at includes the original soundtrack, a sticker set of all the characters, and character design postcards for the new characters will retail for 9,765 yen ($99) and 9,240 yen ($93) for the PS3 and PS Vita versions, respectively.
