Voice Actors Give Well Wishes to Yoshimasa Hosoya

Fellow voice actors are sending well wishes to hiatus to treat his throat after a doctor's diagnosis.

Sword Art Online), who was working with Hosoya on the radio program Tensai Gunshi, wrote that he is waiting for Hosoya's recovery, as the team doesn't feel complete without him. The official Tensai Gunshi Twitter also tweeted, "I'm not crying. Dammit."

Kuroko's Basketball) wrote, "I look forward to the return of a Hosoya who has rested and become 'the strongest.'"

Yuri!!! on Ice) tweeted, "I'm waiting for you to regain your strength so we can hang out together again (￣▽￣)."

Rewrite) wrote, "To Hosoya, who's straightforward in everything he does. You've got nerve, and that's all you need, old man. I'm rooting for you. I'll see you again on stage!"

Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) wrote, "Hosoya put his soul into Iron-Blooded Orphans. Orga and I are looking forward to being able to work together again." Orga Itsuka is the Iron-Blooded Orphans character voiced by Hosoya.

Hosoya's current roles include Strike the Blood II OAV series, where he voiced Kojō Akatsuki, have confirmed that he will not be replaced in those roles. Hosoya plans to return to work before the end of the year.
