Oscar advances Anime

As previously mentionned, the Academy of Motion Pictures has created a new Oscar to be given to Animated features starting in 2002 provided no less than 8 anmated features are released in the United States in a given year.

Thanks in part to the new award category Mamoru Oshii's feature (not expected for another 2 years), are both likely to be released theatrically in the United States.
