Hayao Miyazaki will be present at the Egyptian Thatre in Hollywood
The American Cinetheque at the Egyptian has sent out a press release announcing that Hayao Miyazaki will be present for the North American premiere of his latest film, Spirited Away, at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood on September 10th.

On Tuesday, September 10th is an in-person tribute to Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki (Studio Ghibli).
The Tuesday, September 10th program begins at 7:30 PM on with Hayao Miyazaki's Joe Hisaishi. Winner of the 2002 Japanese Academy Award for Best Picture and the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival. Discussion following with director Hayao Miyazaki.
Creator of some of the most breathtakingly beautiful films in the history of animation, including LAPUTA: CASTLE IN THE SKY. Working with his own animation house, Studio Ghibli, Miyazaki has exerted an amazing degree of individual control over the design and production of his films.
Special Ticket Price of $10.00 General, $9.00 Students/Seniors, $8.00 for this screening only.
All screenings are at the newly renovated Lloyd E. Rigler Theatre at the historic Egyptian (6712 Hollywood Boulevard between Highland and Las Palmas) in Hollywood.
