Publishers Weekly to appear at March event

On March 15, the New York Center for Independent Publishing will
hold "Splat," its first annual symposium on graphic novels, comics, and manga. The symposium is aimed at the publishing community, as well as educators, librarians, and those interested in creating their own comics. Some of the individual s and other sessions will include a look at the changing demographics of graphic novel readers, a discussion on webcomics, workshops on co-creating a comic with a writer and getting published, and a talk on the popularity of anime and manga in public libraries.
