Editors: baseball manga creator Asa Higuchi to "recharge" for her health
The February issue of Asa Higuchi is taking a long hiatus. The magazine's editors said that Higuchi is taking a break "for her health and to recharge."
Higuchi apologized for the long hiatus and, comparing it to the end of the baseball season, said that the manga will resume its serialization around November. New compiled book volumes of the manga will follow thereafter.
The manga has been running in Monthly Afternoon since September of 2003, and the 15th volume part of the anime in North America.
