Screening in its second weekend, the double feature Gekijō Transformers: Dark of the Moon and Cars 2) and No. 5 on Box Office Mojo's chart. They earned the equivalent of US$2,764,505 on 489 screens for a new total of US$11,428,949 .
No. 6 to No. 5 in its fifth weekend on Kogyo Tsushinsha's chart. It reached No. 4 at on Box Office Mojo's chart, edging out the Kamen Raider double feature. It earned US$2,991,114 on 457 screens for a new total of US$36,898,464.
This year's two Gekijōban Pocket Monster Best Wishes! Victini to Shiroki Eiyū Reshiram earned US$2,363,156 on 351 screens for a grand total of US$40,930,103.
On its second week on the big screens, the manga-based, live-action film Kochira Katsushika-ku Kamearikouen-mae Hashutsujo: The Movie: Kachidoki-bashi o Heisa seyo! saw a minor drop from No. 7 to No. 8 on both charts earning US$1,232,008 on 277 screens, grossing a total of US$5,019,484.
Nintama Rantaro manga and anime fell to tenth in its fourth weekend. It earned US$837,984 more on 218 screens for a new total of US$8,522,743.
Soreike! Anpanman: Sukue! Kokorin to Kiseki no Hoshi dropped from No. 13 to No. 14 in its seventh weekend. It took in US$160,332 on 131 screens for a gross-to-date of US$4,080,957.
