Manifest On This Weekend

This year's Melbourne Anime Festival, also known as Manifest, will take place this weekend from Friday August 26 to Sunday August 28 at the Melbourne Showgrounds. The event will run from 9:00AM to 9:00PM on Friday, 10:00AM to 9:00PM on Saturday and 10:00AM to 7:00PM on Sunday.
Manifest is the longest running anime convention in Australia and received over 7000 guests last year. This year's features include anime screenings throughout the convention, s, auctions, traders, video games and various competitions including Last Exile -Fam, The Silver Wing-, which is yet to broadcast on Japanese television.
Attending as special guests will be Team Four Star, creators of Dragon Ball Z: Abridged.
Ticket prices range from $30/$35 for a single day to $55 for all three days, with tickets including priority entry and other benefits also available. An schedule of the convention's events is available online and further information is available on Manifest's website.
