Viz Media Licenses 07-Ghost Gothic Fantasy Manga

The North American manga publisher 07-Ghost gothic fantasy manga starting this November. The second volume will follow in January.
The story revolves around Teito, an orphaned slave with magical powers who enrolls in the military academy of the Barsburg Empire. However, he discovers his father's killers are in his school and flees. Teito gets caught in the larger struggle between Verloren, the God of Death, and the “beings of light” sent by Heaven: the Seven Ghosts.
The manga has been running in 2009.
