The official website for Orchid Seed's The 7 Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai) multimedia project announced on Wednesday that an anime adaptation has been green-lit. The first arc will have two episodes. The project revolves around seven beautiful female demons who embody the seven sins. The project already has figures in development by Orchid Seed.
Renkin 3-kyuu Magical? Pokahn) is producing the anime.
The website emphasizes that the anime will not be adults-only.
The cast of characters includes:
Lucifer - Pride
Leviathan - Envy
Satan - Wrath
Belphegor - Sloth
Mammon - Greed
Beelzebub - Gluttony
Asmodeus - Lust
