Funimation Announces Maken-ki! Dub Cast, Streams Trailer

Monica Rial lead cast for battling schoolgirls anime shipping November 12
North American anime distributor Maken-Ki! Battling Venus) television anime series on Friday, and began streaming an English-dubbed trailer.



The cast is as follows:

Himegami - Chloe Ragnbone
Inaho - Tia Ballard
Furan - Brittney Karbowski
Kengo - Scott Freeman
Yuka - Morgan Garrett
Uruchi - Cherami Leigh

The series is slated to ship on a Blu-ray and DVD combo pack on November 12.

Funimation and the video-streaming service Hiromitsu Takeda's original Maken-Ki! manga centers around Takeru Ōyama, a boy enrolled in an elite school where the girls (and boys) fight with mysterious items called Maken. The student body includes the enigmatic girl Kodama Himegami, a girl named Inaho who calls herself Takeru's fiancée, and his childhood friend Haruko.
