New Rurouni Kenshin Manga to Tell Story of How Shishio, Yumi Met

The July issue of Shishio Makoto and Yumi Komagata met. The manga will also tell the secret of how Shishio formed his organization, the Juppongatana. Shueisha will publish the first chapter in the August issue of Jump SQ. on July 4, and the issue will feature the manga on the cover and on a center color page.
Shueisha films that are slated to open on August 1 and September 13 in Japan.
Novelist Kaworu Kurosaki had Otakon last summer that her husband Watsuki is penning a manga about enemy characters. She invited the 's audience to suggest which characters should get the spotlight, and she promised to give those suggestions — Enishi and Yumi — to Watsuki.
Watsuki is putting his Embalming manga on hiatus to draw the new manga, and he plans to resume the series with the start of the final arc this fall.
