Gurren Lagann to Run on Adult Swim's Toonami Block

Gainax's robot anime to premiere on August 16 at 2 a.m.
Toonami programming block. Toonami will begin running the series on August 16 at 2:00 a.m. ET/PT.
The anime studio Aniplex USA released the Japanese Blu-ray Disc box set that includes the series and both films in North America last year.
The series has also inspired two stage play.
