Sunao Katabuchi's anime drama about a woman in wartime
UK Anime Network reports that the feature film Manga Entertainment in UK and Irish cinemas on Wednesday June 28, with further cinema screenings from Friday June 30.
The animated wartime drama is written and directed by Kure City on the coast of Hiroshima Prefecture. The story follows her as she perseveres through World War II.
The global distribution rights to the film had been Animatsu in June 2016.
