1st Code Geass Compilation Film's Trailer Shows New Scenes

The official website for the Code Geass project began streaming a new trailer promotional video and revealed a new visual on Friday for Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch - Kōdō (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 anime series. The video previews some of the new footage created for the first film.

The site also revealed that every week, for six weeks, filmgoers will receive a different bonus for purchasing a ticket for the first film. Filmgoers in the first week will get a DVD with a new picture drama titled "Kamen Kokuhaku Taikai" (Mask Confession Tournament).
The three films are titled, in order of continuity: Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch - Kōdō (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion - The Awakening Path), Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch - Handō (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion - The Rebellion Path), and Code Geass - Hangyaku no Lelouch - Ōdō (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion - The Imperial Path). The first film is slated to open in Japan on October 21, the second film in February 2018, and the third film in May 2018.

Those who pre-purchase tickets for the first film in participating theaters will receive an A4-size clear file and a movie ticket with the first film's poster visual.
The films will recap all 50 episodes of both Code Geass series. The cast are re-recording all their lines for the films, and the films will include new scenes.
In addition, the Astrays is responsible for the new Knightmare Frame designs.
The second spinoff is titled Code Geass Danshō - Mosaic no Kakera (Code Geass Story Fragment - Piece of the Mosaic). The work will be an omnibus work that will focus on six different protagonists whose lives are affected and changed by the events of the main story.
The original Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 anime series will also get reruns on BS11 starting on October 1 at 7:00 p.m., and will air two episodes every Sunday.
The original Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion television anime series premiered in Japan in 2006, while Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 premiered in 2008. The Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Resurrection). The format of the sequel has not yet been revealed.
The five-part released the entire series on home video on June 27.
