Persona 5 TV Anime Reveals Staff, Promo Video, April Premiere

The "TV Animation Persona 5 Top Secret Info Revealed! Live-Streamed Special: Something Will Happen in Shibuya on Christmas Eve!?" program unveiled new information, a promotional video, and the first key visual for Atlus game Persona 5 on Sunday.
Sket Dance) is in charge of the series scripts. Shōji Meguro is returning from the game to compose the anime's music.
The anime will premiere next April on the BS11 channels. The name of the protagonist in the anime is Ren Amamiya. The new visual feature Ren standing at Tokyo's iconic Shibuya Crossing intersection. Like the previous visual, the anime's official website has the following tagline on the new visual, "The world will be stolen by them."

The voice cast from the game are reprising their roles for the anime:
- Jun Fukuyama as the protagonist Ren Amamiya
- Mamoru Miyano as Ryuji Sakamoto
- Ikue Ōtani as Morgana
- Nana Mizuki as Anne Takamaki
- Tomokazu Sugita as Yusuke Kitagawa
- Rina Satō as Makoto Niijima
- Aoi Yūki as Futaba Sakura
- Haruka Tomatsu as Haru Okumura
- Sōichirō Hoshi as Goro Akechi
The latest entry in the Persona role-playing game series shipped for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in Japan on September 15, 2016. The game shipped in North America on April 4, 2017 after a delay.
