Family fantasy by Ghibli director will be released to UK cinemas on May 18
Altitude Films has released a two-minute extract from Mary and The Witch's Flower, which will be released in UK cinemas on May 18. The extract is from the English dub, although there is little dialogue in the clip.
The film opened in Japan on July 8 and has Yoshiaki Nishimura is credited as producer. The staff page on the film's website further noted that many former staff from Studio Ghibli ed Ponoc in the film's production.
