Shine On! Bakumatsu Boys Anime's 1st Video Announces Cast, July 8 Premiere

The official website for Shine On! Bakumatsu Boys (Bucchigire!) debuted the anime's first full promotional video and key visual on Thursday. The video announces the anime's main cast and July 8 premiere.
The main cast are:
Shunichi Toki as Sakuya
Toshiyuki Toyonaga as Heisuke Todo (family name last)
Sumire Uesaka as Akira
Shinichirō Miki as Sōgen
Yūto Uemura as Suzuran
Wataru Takagi as Gyatarō
Fukushi Ochiai as Bō
The anime will premiere on the BS11 at 11:30 p.m. that day.
The story is set in the era when samurai rule Japan. However, the Shinsengumi police force has been all but wiped out by an unknown foe, save one survivor. Seven criminals have been chosen as substitutes for the Shinsengumi. To ensure law and order in Kyoto, a top-secret replacement operation is set in motion.
Masafumi Yokota is adapting for animation.
