Masaaki Yuasa's Inu-Oh Will Have U.K. Cinema Release from September 28

Anime Limited will release film about two pop musicians in 14th-century Japan
Heike Monogatari: INU-OH no Maki (Tales of the Heike: Inu-Oh) novel, in UK cinemas from September 28. The screenings will be in Japanese with English subtitles. Venue details and booking links will be available at https://inu-oh.co.uk/.
Anime Limited describes the film:
Inu-Based on a novel by renowned Japanese author Hideo Furukawa and inspired by history, INU-OH tells the story of a young man who aspires to be a performer, but is shunned because of his unique physical appearance. However, he can hear the voices of samurai who died fighting for the historic Heike clan 200 years ago, and each time he performs their stories, a part of his human appearance is transformed. After a fateful encounter with the blind biwa priest Tomona, the two forces to climb the ladder to stardom. However, in an era of political turmoil, not everyone is ready for the true story of the Heike.
The film play Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, Inu-Oh's father, and Tomona's father, respectively.
Yuasa (I am a Hero, We Married as a Job!, and Unnatural.
The film made its world premiere in the 78th Venice International Film Festival in September 2021, and it was the first 2D Japanese film to compete in the Venice International Film Festival's Horizons category. The film has since screened at many other film festivals.
