Odex Screens Detective Conan: The Story of Ai Haibara Compilation Film in the Philippines

The film opened in Japan on January 6. The film ranked at #4 in its opening weekend, selling 136,000 tickets for 191,786,610 yen ($1.45 million) in its first three days.
The film recompiles the anime's four-episode "Jet-Black Mystery Train" arc (episodes 701-704), while also including key scenes centering on the character Ai Haibara from other parts of the television anime's run. The film also has new footage connecting the film to film.
Detective Conan: Kurogane no Submarine (Iron Submarine), the 26th ranked #1 in its first three days, making it the best three-day opening for the franchise. The film earned 64% more in its first three days than the previous film, Detective Conan: The Bride of Halloween.
TOHO is aiming for the new film to be the first in the franchise to earn 10 billion yen.
