Netflix Lists Onimusha, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, My Daemon, Onmyōji Anime in India

Netflix is listing the following anime for release in India:
- The Onimusha game will stream on November 2.
- Scott Pilgrim graphic novel series will stream on November 17.
- The series will stream on November 23.
- The first anime Onmyōji novels will stream on November 28.
Famed director Terraformars) serves as the supervising director for Onimusha.
The series uses the late prolific actor Toshirō Mifune (Rashomon, Seven Samurai) as a model for the character Miyamoto Musashi.
CAPCOM debuted the Onimusha Sengoku-era survival action game series in 2001. The games in the series retell stories from the Sengoku era but with supernatural elements. The latest game in the series, a remaster of Onimusha: Warlords, released in January 2019.
The game series previously inspired the PlayStation 2 video game and also adds extra animated scenes.

The cast from the 2010 live-action Scott Pilgrim vs. the World film adaptation are returning for the anime.
O'Malley is writing the project and serving as executive producer with Star Wars: Visions' "TO-B1") as director.

Scott Pilgrim is the story of a 20-something Toronto indie rocker's adventures in getting and keeping jobs, avoiding being kicked out of his apartment, and surviving encounters with the seven evil exes of the new girl in town on whom he has a crush.
O'Malley published the original Harvey Award-winning, manga-influenced Scott Pilgrim graphical novel series from 2004 to 2010. The Scott Pilgrim vs. the World film opened in 2010, and it spawned the "Scott Pilgrim vs. the Animation" short from Ubisoft Montreal also developed Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game in 2010.

Hidetaka Adachi aka Nat Yoswatananont is directing the series.
The series takes place in the near future, after a nuclear explosion has caused the Earth to overlap with Hell for a moment, causing pollution from a dust that originated in Hell. Elementary student Kento finds a daemon named Anna in the forest, and raises Anna. The series follows the adventures of Kento and Anna as they go on a trip to save Kento's mother.

Ling Tosite Sigure is performing the anime's theme song.
Yumemakura first wrote the franchise as a series of short stories starting in 1986. He then wrote three full-length novels for the franchise, in 2000-2008. The book series also includes several picture books.
The stories take place in a fictional version of Japan's Heian period, and center on the real-life onmyōji Abe no Seimei.
The novels inspired the Onmyōji and Reiko Okano drew a 13-volume manga adaptation of the series starting in 1994. The books have also inspired several live-action series in Japan.
