New Ranma 1/2 Anime Announces 5 More Cast

The official website for the Rumiko Takahashi's Ranma 1/2 manga announced five more cast on Saturday. The cast are (from left to right in the image below):
- Tomokazu Sugita as Tatewaki Kunō
- Ayane Sakura as Kodachi Kunō
- Toshiyuki Morikawa as Tōfū Ono
- Mamoru Miyano as Mikado Sanzenin
- Aoi Yūki as Azusa Shiratori
These five cast are not reprising these roles from the previous Ranma 1/2 anime projects.
The staff will hold an advance preview screening of the anime in Tokyo on October 3. Cast Noriko Hidaka will appear in a talk show segment during the screening.

Twelve episodes of the new anime were leaked.
Takahashi debuted the manga in Weekly Shōnen Sunday magazine in August 1987, and ended it in March 1996. The series had 38 compiled book volumes.
The manga inspired the Ranma 1/2 television anime series in April 1989. The anime continued into the special in December 2011.
