Aniplex of America Announces Blend-S Complete Blu-ray Set

SANTA MONICA, CA (September 2, 2018) – At their Industry at Miyuki Nakayama's popular 4- manga series by the same name. The complete Blu-ray set will include web previews, trailers and commercials, all six variations of the textless endings, and a special booklet with Café Stile's menu pages. The Blu-ray discs will be housed in a beautiful Blu-ray cases and box illustrated by creator Miyuki Nakayama. Pre-orders are now open with the set scheduled to be released on November 20th.

As the tagline “Everything's a treat - even being stomped on” hints, the series features a colorful cast of characters who work at a cafe called Café Stile, where the waitresses are assigned an archetype personality when serving customers. These roles include the tsundere, idol, little sister (or imouto) and the super sadist, or do-S, type to which the main character, Maika, has been reluctantly assigned.

“On the technical side, BLEND-S seems to have its act together,” writes Paul Jensen in an Anime News Network review of the series. “The character designs are distinctive, and the individual colors of the girls' uniforms add some nice variety to what could have been a monotonous wardrobe…Within the context of its genre, BLEND-S is a fine-looking series.”
