Spirited Away earned in the same time span during that movie's 2001 theatrical release.
Naruto ninja franchise, opened at #3. It earned 218,855,700 yen (US$1,992,000) on 252 screens with 198,054 viewers.
Innocence, opened at #7.
GeGeGe no Kitarō: Sennen Noroi Uta (Shigeru Mizuki's supernatural manga, dropped from #8 to #10 in its fourth week.
