Exclusive: Titan Manga Licenses Rensuke Oshikiri's Geniearth Manga

Geniearth manga in English starting on April 14, 2026. The first volume is available to pre-order on Forbidden Planet in the U.K., and will be available on other North American retailers.

Titan Manga describes Geniearth:

In a world divided by power, Geniearth takes you on a high-stakes, sci-fi adventure where society is torn apart by a new genetic phenomenon. A gene has surfaced, granting one in every thousand people incredible abilities, and the “New Humans”—or “Geniuses”—declare themselves superior to “Old Humans.” Fuwa Masaru, a Genius, leads a violent uprising, sparking a brutal civil war that threatens to obliterate the planet. Amid the chaos, a mysterious “Old Human” with an enigmatic aura appears—potentially the only hope to end the conflict and save the world.

Created by Rensuke Oshikiri, known for his dark, action-packed storytelling in Tokyo Zombie, Geniearth blends gripping action, social commentary, and a deep exploration of humanity's evolution and struggle for power. The first volume sets the stage for an intense battle between two factions as the fight for survival escalates.

Oshikiri ended in July 2022. Akita Shoten shipped the fifth and final volume in October 2022.

Oshikiri launched the Hi Score Girl DASH spinoff in Big Gangan in December 2019. The manga focuses on the character Koharu Hidaka, who is a middle school teacher close to 30 years old in 2007.

The first season of the main Hi Score Girl manga's television anime adaptation premiered in Japan in July 2018. streaming on Netflix in April 2020.
